Ingredients:
- 6-8 medium sized carrots, peeled and chopped
- 1 inch piece of ginger, peeled
- 1 medium sized apple, peeled and cored
- 1 medium sized lemon, peeled
- 2-3 stalks of celery (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the ingredients: Wash the carrots, ginger, apple, lemon, and celery (if using) thoroughly. Peel and chop the carrots and ginger into smaller pieces. Core the apple and peel the lemon.
- Blend the ingredients: Add the prepared carrots, ginger, apple, lemon, and celery (if using) to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Strain the juice: Pour the blended mixture through a strainer into a pitcher, using a spatula to press out all of the juice. Discard the solids.
- Serve: Pour the juice into glasses, add ice (if desired), and serve immediately.
