Carrot Juice Recipe: Refreshing and Healthy

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 medium sized carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, peeled
  • 1 medium sized apple, peeled and cored
  • 1 medium sized lemon, peeled
  • 2-3 stalks of celery (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Wash the carrots, ginger, apple, lemon, and celery (if using) thoroughly. Peel and chop the carrots and ginger into smaller pieces. Core the apple and peel the lemon.
  2. Blend the ingredients: Add the prepared carrots, ginger, apple, lemon, and celery (if using) to a blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Strain the juice: Pour the blended mixture through a strainer into a pitcher, using a spatula to press out all of the juice. Discard the solids.
  4. Serve: Pour the juice into glasses, add ice (if desired), and serve immediately.

Enjoy your refreshing and healthy glass of carrot juice! This recipe makes about 2-3 servings, and can be easily doubled or halved to suit your needs. You can also add honey or agave syrup to sweeten the juice, if desired.
